Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Reporting to the NSW & QLD State Manager of our Bulk division, the Fleet Supervisor will leverage their strong transport expertise, sharp attention to detail, and leadership capability to drive performance and service excellence. In this newly created role, your knowledge of transport operations will be vital in upholding high safety standards, ensuring fleet efficiency, and delivering optimal outcomes for our clients. You’ll lead a dedicated team of drivers, build and sustain effective relationships with both stakeholders, and apply sound financial acumen to manage operational costs and drive continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee a team of 8 drivers to ensure daily operations of the fleet, including scheduling and allocation is timely and accurate
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with all stakeholders, customers, and drivers
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and customers around planning, runs, and delays
  • Conduct proactive assessments of operations with the aim of enhancing efficiency
  • Manage and monitor payroll, driver’s performance, leave entitlements, and truck servicing
  • Load planning & optimization via solid analytical skills with the ability to systemically plan resources
  • Recognize opportunities to improve current processes and revenue margins through cost accountability
