Description
SAIC is seeking a Fleet Systems Integrator to provide technical installation, integration, and break-fix support to Fleet customers in support of NAVWAR’s Naval Operational Architecture (NOA). This role requires direct engagement with warfighter end-users, fleet stakeholders, and development teams to facilitate the seamless deployment, integration, and operational sustainment of advanced software and hardware systems across afloat, shore, and submarine platforms. The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring mission readiness by ensuring key (C2) capabilities are successfully installed and operational. This position requires up to 25%25 travel. This is a recently awarded contract, funded for five years. Work is performed on site in San Diego, CA as well as Norfolk, VA. Responsibilities: Provide installation, troubleshooting, and remote support with C4I Tactical Networks and/or PoRs (ex. CANES, GCCS-M, DCGS-N) Execute break-fix actions, installation, and integration support within lab, shore, and on surface platform Support travel efforts to address complex integration activities Contribute to engineering teams and IPTs towards the development of system/application integration solutions within a DEVSECOPS construct Participate in project planning efforts/SCRUMs/daily standups, ECCBs, and other development activities Please view our Program page for more information and to view all open positions available: https://jobs.saic.com/pages/NOA. Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent IATII/CSWF compliant Security+ Required Clearance: US Citizenship Active Secret Clearance Must be and eligible for upgrade to a Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance Required Skills and Experience: Two (2+) years of professional experience with supporting IT Networks Configuration & Troubleshooting: Proficient in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting various network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Cloud Networking: Familiarity with managing cloud-based network infrastructures on platforms such as AWS, Azure, hybrid cloud connectivity Network Protocols: In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, etc., with the ability to implement and troubleshoot Virtualization: Experience with network virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V Team Collaboration: Proven ability collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve network objectives Platforms: Have working knowledge of a client/server architectures with both Windows/Linux Containerization: Familiarity with containers and related applications (ex. Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift) Scripting/Automation: Working experience with PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Vbs, or equivalent Experience with installation, troubleshooting, remote support with C4I Tactical Networks and/or PoRs (ex. CANES, GCCS-M, DCGS-N) Working knowledge of Agile Core Services (ACS) and associated applications (e.g., OpenShift, RedHet, etc.) Successful track record with performing shipboard network and/or application installations/integrations Providing Tier 1 – 3 support, both remote and onsite
