DESCRIPTION

Our staff are an integral part of Jason Warren Racing Stables. We now seek an experienced hands on Foreperson to join our Flemington Stable. We require a strong and motivated team leader to manage the day to day running of our stable. The successful applicant will be a competent horseman/woman who has a strong passion for the Racing Industry and experience managing a stable in a similar role. However, applicants looking to take their next step in their career, having shown a willingness to learn and keen work ethic in previous roles, are also encouraged to apply. Excellent communication & time management skills, and experience working with young horses, will be highly regarded. Responsibilities Taking responsibility for administering medications, preparing horses for trackwork, identifying and managing injuries, assisting with vet work, overseeing feeding etc. You will also assist with rostering and recruitment and be able to provide feedback to the Trainers re the general welfare of horses day to day. Drivers licence and ability to drive a float would be an advantage.
