FLEX SECURITY OFFICER – RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY PATROLS Company: Elite Security & Staffing Location: Multiple Locations throughout San Diego County Pay: $21.00–$22.00 per hour (Depending on Experience) POSITION SUMMARY Elite Security & Staffing is seeking dependable, professional, and adaptable Flex Security Officers to support multiple client sites throughout the San Diego area. This position primarily focuses on Residential Community patrols and may also include standing posts, foot patrols, vehicle patrols, and customer service responsibilities. This role is ideal for security professionals who can quickly adapt to different work environments, travel between job sites, and respond to staffing needs with flexibility. Training will be provided at company and client locations to ensure familiarity with site-specific procedures and expectations. Applicants must have reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and be at least 25 years of age to meet vehicle patrol insurance requirements. ---------------------------------------- WORK LOCATIONS Assignments may include: * Central San Diego (Primary Location) * East County * South Bay * Downtown San Diego ---------------------------------------- SCHEDULE * Graveyard Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM * 8-hour shifts only * Weekend and holiday availability required. * Schedule includes both assigned site shifts and flex coverage days. * Hours will range between 20 - 40 weekly depending on flex days & site days to be determined. * Must be available for short-notice assignments and schedule changes. ---------------------------------------- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide professional security services for housing communities and other assigned client locations. * Conduct foot patrols, standing posts, and vehicle patrols as assigned. * Complete hourly patrol logs and required documentation. * Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms according to company and client procedures. * Prepare accurate incident reports using the TrackTik reporting system. * Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional appearance. * Follow all post orders, site-specific policies, and company procedures. * Adapt quickly to changing assignments and work environments. ---------------------------------------- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * 3–5 years of recent security experience. * Valid California BSIS Guard Card. * Proof of completed BSIS training (32-hour requirement and 8-hour certificate). * Ability to pass a background investigation. * Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between multiple job sites. * Must be at least 25 years old for vehicle patrol assignments. * Clean driving record and ability to provide a current DMV report every three months. * Strong communication, report writing, and customer service skills. * Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during dynamic situations. * Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. ---------------------------------------- WORK ENVIRONMENT * Extended periods of standing and walking. * Frequent travel between assigned client locations. * Outdoor and indoor work environments. * Flexible scheduling based on operational needs. * Vehicle patrol assignments as required. ---------------------------------------- COMPENSATION & BENEFITS * $21.00–$22.00 per hour (DOE) * Weekly pay * Direct deposit available * Company-issued uniform shirt. * Employee provides black pants and black shoes. * Ongoing training and professional development. * Opportunities for career advancement. ---------------------------------------- WHY JOIN ELITE SECURITY & STAFFING?
