As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront corridors, service hallways, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Monitor cameras, alarms, and/or other systems when assigned, and document unusual activity, hazards, and incidents in written reports. Assist with access control and general order by verifying credentials where required, providing directions, and helping to de-escalate customer disputes and/or policy issues. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
