This is a temporary position.  JOB SUMMARY  The Senior Manager, Inventory Product partners closely with the Director of Inventory Product to drive the successful configuration, testing, and rollout of Marriott’s Reservation Platform across multiple integrated systems. Bringing deep expertise in hospitality operations, product development, and best practices, this role plays a critical part in advancing Marriott’s strategy for selling lodging and non-lodging products. As the CRS subject matter expert, the Senior Manager provides trusted guidance on product definition, system configuration, governance, and business rules; represents key stakeholder perspectives across Revenue Management, Reservations, and product teams; and supports informed, timely decision-making in a complex, fast-moving environment. This role also leads business process reviews, user acceptance testing, training readiness, and change management efforts—delivering results with clarity, collaboration, and energy even amid ambiguity.    CANDIDATE PROFILE  Education and Experience   Required   * 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related major.    * 5+ years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance  Preferred  * 5 years’ experience with Marriott’s systems platforms, which includes: MARSHA, HPP, MarRFP, One Yield, PMS and Total Yield  * Prior experience evaluating business processes and successfully implementing medium to large-scale projects.  * Experience as a Product Systems owner in the lodging/hospitality industry experience or a related discipline preferred    CORE WORK ACTIVITIES   * Develops CRS use cases supporting inventory and product definition across property configuration, reservations, groups, pricing/yield, distribution, integrations, and system conversions.  * Serves as a Subject Matter Expert on CRS functional requirements and their linkage to Marriott business processes and impacted systems.  * Represents stakeholder perspectives including Revenue Management, Reservations, Group Housing, and Sales.  * Collaborates cross-functionally to align business strategy and system capabilities.  * Provides recommendations to enhance the effectiveness and performance of the reservation platform.  * Gathers, prioritizes, and incorporates Continent feedback on requirements and process design.  * Supports development, validation, and readiness of training materials to enable successful CRS rollout and adoption.  * Maintains ongoing communication and provides regular reporting to the Reservation Platform team.  * Reviews QA test cases and executes comprehensive user experience testing.  * Documents, tracks, and reports defects within established timelines.  * Partners with Marriott Global Technology and third-party vendors to support effective technical implementations.  * Develops and manages complex, multi-stakeholder project plans with milestone tracking and status reporting.  * Identifies and prioritizes business needs, scenarios, and opportunities, proposing and executing solutions.  * Manages priorities, resources, schedules, and dependencies to ensure on-time project delivery.  * Executes work plans efficiently to meet performance, budget, and timeline objectives.  * Analyzes data and evaluates outcomes to determine optimal solutions and recommendations.  * Produces accurate, timely reports, presentations, and data analyses for leadership and stakeholders.  * Recommends and drives continuous improvement of processes and programs.  * Understands and proactively addresses the needs of key stakeholders. * Develops and delivers clear, targeted presentations for diverse stakeholder audiences.  * Supports leadership-defined priorities, schedules, and plans to ensure task completion.    At Marriott International, we are dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity.
