You’ll be providing a housing management service, supporting customers to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts while picking and choosing the shifts you want to work. What you’ll do Working with our independent living over 55's customers There is lots for you to do and get involved in, from supporting customers with housing benefit claims to making welfare calls or carrying out defect checks throughout the building. Making sure that our customers properties and communal areas are homes they can be proud of, you’ll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies. You’ll also work with the team on ensuring we are health and safety compliant and that maintenance standards are met. You have Enjoyment working with a range of customers and different people to support with their housing. Flexibility to work at short notice, as you’ll be the one picking your next shift. Ideally, you’ve worked in a supported housing, or housing related background and you must bring your positive, can-do attitude! Some know-how of re-letting rooms, collecting rents and knowledge of tenancies. The ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds. The practical bits Flexible working hours We’re looking for you to pick up hours at any of the services close to you. Able to use technology for creating and updating risk assessment and customer information, doing mandatory learning & keeping in touch with colleagues. To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage! You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
