QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • 5+ years experience in subscription billing within professional services/consulting, or industry, specifically focused on delivering cloud-based subscription billing solutions
  • 5+ years experience with end-to-end implementations of Subscription Billing solutions (e.g. Zuora Billing, Oracle NetSuite, SAP BRIM)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
  • A Bachelor’s degree

Preferred:

  • Strong understanding of lead-to-cash and record-to-report processes and end-to-end architectures
  • Experience and in-depth understanding of all aspects of the SDLC including Design, Build, QA, UAT and Support
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with architecture assessments and developing roadmaps to implement subscription billing solutions
  • Experience with designing and configuring cloud/SaaS billing solutions in complex environments
  • Experience designing integrations with upstream (Ordering, Provisioning) and downstream ERP (GL) applications
  • Experience managing teams ranging 5+ people
  • An advanced degree

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $144,600 to $241,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

Responsibilities

Our practitioners work in integrated project teams on a range of projects covering the entire lifecycle from strategy formulation through to design, development and the deployment of solutions. These project teams will often include leaders and specialists from other business and technical disciplines from within the consulting practice and from our clients. A focus on teamwork is therefore critical. As a billing solution expert, you will bring considerable billing management expertise to help design, develop and implement subscription billing solutions to transform client’s billing processes. You will interact daily with key business and IT executives and lead multiple teams in various strategy and implementation activities. As a Manager you will:

  • Provide service excellence by identifying key client business issues
  • Determine client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches
  • Evaluate and validate analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement
  • You will be expected to implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Strong communication skills - ability to communicate complex system concepts to a business audience in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to facilitate clients’ most complex business requirements
  • Knowledge of basic accounting policies, and implications
  • Experience identifying creative solutions within configurable cloud systems or within boundary applications where customization is required
  • Leadership - proven ability to lead complex engagements, both business and technical, including multiple dependencies and integration points
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
