Must have a thorough knowledge of the essential duties and responsibilities of the Press Helper and the Flowman as well as those listed below for the Press Operator. Language Skills * Must be able to read and interpret English language documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, company handbook, and procedure manuals. * Must be able to speak and write in English effectively when presenting information to supervisors and fellow employees. Mathematical Skills * Required to add, subtract, multiply and divide in units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. * Reasoning Ability * Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Essential Physical Demands * While performing the duties required of this position, the employee is constantly required to stand for up to 12 hours, walk, use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. * The employee will occasionally be required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. * Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds or more than fifty (50) pounds with assistance or proper equipment. * Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. * This role requires the employee to concentrate for long periods of time. WORK ENVIRONMENT * The work environment includes moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. * There is the possibility the employee will occasionally be exposed to high precarious places, hazardous chemicals, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock. * The noise level in the work environment can be considered loud. * The temperature is not completely controlled and can be considered to be related to seasonal conditions.
