At Avery Dennison, we don’t just print labels; we design materials science solutions that connect the physical and digital worlds. We are looking for a Flexographic Press Operator to join our team. If you have a "zero-defect" mindset and a passion for high-quality results, we want to hear from you. Your Day-to-Day As a Press Operator, you will be the "pilot" of your machine, responsible for converting raw materials into finished, high-quality printed products. Machine Ownership: Set up, install printing plates, and adjust cylinders according to precise specifications. Quality Control: Monitor ink viscosity and color sequences to ensure every product meets our "zero-defect" standard. Troubleshooting: Use your mechanical aptitude to detect malfunctions and perform root-cause adjustments rather than "band-aid" fixes. Collaboration: Work with your team to meet production targets while maintaining a safety-first environment. Qualifications What You Bring Experience: 1-2 years of printing experience (Flexographic preferred). Education: High School Diploma or GED. Skills: Strong basic math and the ability to read measurements down to 1/8". The "Soft" Fit: You are accountable, curious about how things work, and resilient during high-pressure shifts. Details Shift: 2nd Shift (6 PM – 6 AM, Mon-Wed; 6 PM – 12 AM, Thurs). Starting Pay: $20 – $22/hr.
