Description
We are currently looking for a contractor to Join our growing flight assembly team. Role requirements Primary role will be building flight hardware to IPC and ESA standard. This will include PCA, Module build, and harness work. · Previous experience in a cleanroom environment · Working to build instructions and drawings · Assemble and align in-house cable assemblies and test jigs/boxes · Assist with test lab workload handover to ensure smooth running of cross department flight hardware. · Other activities as delegated Qualifications Knowledge & Skills · Experience within an engineering environment · Practical, hands-on ability · Good general computing skills (word processing and basic spreadsheets) Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook · ESA or IPC certificate – in date · Clear communication skills · Commitment to take own initiative · Desire to support others · Good team working skills · Excellent planning and organising skills · Able to use common sense when under pressure · Ability to multi-task and deliver both immediate and longer term tasks · Able to demonstrate company mindsets and behaviours; Be accountable, Drive & delivery, Communicate effectively, Self-manage effectively, Work as one team Location The role is based in Guildford Contract Please note that this contract will need to be processed through one of our sub-contracting partners, and we will be happy to put you in contact with them.
