YOUR SKILLS AND PROFILE

  • Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related technical discipline
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in developing flight guidance and control laws
  • Expertise in flight dynamics, including aircraft trimming and system linearization
  • Proficiency in Matlab, Simulink, and Stateflow for modeling and simulation
  • Experience with VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft is highly desirable
  • Background in flight testing is a significant advantage
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integration into development pipelines is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • A genuine enthusiasm for aviation and cutting-edge aerial mobility technologies
  • Willingness to travel based on project needs
  • Valid Class B driver’s license
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive flight dynamics analyses across the full flight envelope, including trimming, linearization, and nonlinear system evaluation
  • Design, implement, and validate flight control algorithms and control allocation strategies for various aircraft types
  • Assess linear and nonlinear controllers based on performance and robustness criteria
  • Analyze fault scenarios to support robust control and allocation strategies
  • Evaluate control behavior across different flight phases, including fixed-wing and VTOL operations
  • Automate parameter tuning and closed-loop performance evaluations
  • Analyze flight test data with a focus on control system performance
  • Define, execute, and interpret tests in Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments
  • Ensure thorough documentation and traceability of test cases
  • Support the planning and on-site execution of flight test campaigns
