Description
MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE To monitor, edit, troubleshoot and pre-empt operational data, primarily in the ‘Departure Control System’ (DCS) and other systems to ensure customer experience is optimized through efficient & accurate communication and efficient processing at the flydubai outstation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinates with UAE ‘Advance Passenger Information’ (API) cases for both HUB/ Outstation including their system outage, and upload API batch file on the portal for any stations who are unable to transmit it. Manages and directs inbound information flows to relevant departments to optimize performance. Provides a “first call” on process issues related to flight control for outstations around the network and providing trouble shooting expertise. Acts as focal point for management of disruption ensuring communication channels remain open and are provided with most up to date data. Ensures flight schedulers in run on timely manner for online check-in, through check-in, and schedule timing are matching to flight system. Responsible for the maintenance of all relevant system tables for the storage address and other data by station. Actions all requirements related to helpdesk/call center/Reservation. Reports all challenges and issues related to API outage/documentation authority/stations and Hub system issues. Coordinates close working relationship with ‘Centralized Load Control’ (CLC) function ensuring payload planning and execution help maximize performance, . Monitors aircraft configuration and affected unserviceable seats for each flight and liaise with ‘Network Control Centre’ (NCC) if any changes to update sprint with the accurate changes. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree (3+ years) Fluent in English Experience in Airport operations Familiarity with DCS, reservation systems, and airline data flows Years with qualifications: 4 - 6 years COMPETENCIES Customer Focus Teamwork Effective Communication Personal Accountability & Commitment to achieve Resilience & Flexibility (Can do attitude) ISR REQUIREMENTS Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
