Job Description OVERVIEW: Location: Don Mueang, Bangkok Department: Operations Control Center Entity: Thai AirAsia Status: Full-time YOUR ROLE AS A FLIGHT OPERATIONS ASSISTANT In this role, you will support the flight operations team by assisting with flight planning, monitoring weather conditions, coordinating with pilots and air traffic control, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing routes for safety and efficiency, and making real-time adjustments as needed. WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION: Continue to monitor weather TAF/METAR & NOTAMS for the flight crew. Take Flight Movement Info & Flight Monitor log for each aircraft Coordinate with ATC and AOT for all successful jobs, and Load Control on Zero Fuel Weight updates Assist FOO in Flight Crew Briefing Package preparation Ensure all daily post-flight documents are compiled WHO YOU ARE: Bachelor’s degree in air traffic management, airport management, or an aviation-related field At least 1 year of experience in flight operations would be an advantage Knowledge of TAF/META, and NOTAMS is a must Excellent command of conversational and written English with a TOEIC score of at least 450 Proficient in using G-suite, MS Office, and Smart gadget devices Good personality, detail-oriented, and works well under pressure. Strong collaborator and team player in high-pressure environments.
