Job Title: Flight Operations Dispatcher Location: Dothan, AL Position Type: Full-time Security Clearance: Eligible to receive DoW Common Access Card NO relocation costs are associated with this position Navigator is looking for a skilled Flight Dispatcher with a pilot background to oversee the safe and efficient execution of flight operations. This position plays a critical role in flight planning, real-time monitoring, and decision-making in coordination with pilots and operational teams. Key Responsibilities: Experience in Aircraft Dispatch, or Flight Coordination is required. FAA Dispatch License, Pilot License, US. Army 15P MOS qualified other flight operations qualifications Ability to quickly adapt to current and new software products is essential. Proactive attitude, problem solving skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. Ability to keep your composure during stressful situations is key. Ability to communicate and provide fight following communications with multiple aircrews simultaneously. Monitor flights from departure to arrival, providing updates and support Analyze weather conditions and airspace restrictions Coordinate with pilots, air traffic control, and ground operations Ensure aircraft performance and fuel planning are optimized Respond to in-flight changes, delays, or emergencies Proven ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners while maintaining professional relationships Highly dependable, punctual, and collaborative Excellent written and verbal communication skills Qualifications: Valid Pilot License (preferred) or US Army 15P MOS qualified Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and procedures Experience in flight operations, dispatch, or aviation management Excellent decision-making and communication skills Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment Navigator is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
