Flight RN Flight Nurse is part of the specialty transport team of experts to safely transport patients between medical facilities and accident scenes. An important aspect includes collaboration with other medical and emergency service providers for the purpose of establishing continuity of care by applying problem solving strategies to patient case challenges, adapting to a dynamic and challenging environment, and advancing treatment modalities/interventions with the end goals of providing the highest patient care and improving patient outcomes. Work Status Available: Full Time Shifts Available: Variable Required Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited nursing program Upon hire: Texas Registered Nurse License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association Upon hire: National Trauma Nursing Core Course - Emergency Nurses Association Within 2 years of hire: Neonatal Pediatric Transport Subspecialty Certification (C-NPT) -OR- Within 2 years of hire: Registered Nurse Certified in Inpatient Obstetrics (RNC-OB) -OR- Within 2 years of hire: Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) 3 or more years of acute care nursing Preferred Qualifications: 5 or more years of PICU, NICU, and/or L&D experience. 3 or more years of Flight Nursing/Specialty Transport Nursing Why Join Providence?
