Position Summary Accomplish Engineering Management tasks and interact with lateral AFLCMCorganizations or any external agencies required including base facility, personnel, security, computersupport, foreign disclosure, foreign travel, public affairs, test organizations and the building managers tofacilitate and support uninterrupted day-to-day operations. Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: **Flight Test Engineer**Provide test and evaluation technical support, systems analyst /subject mattertechnical support, and systems software test and evaluation support. The Contractor shall assist in thedesigning, planning, execution, analysis and reporting phases of test and evaluation programs to assess theperformance of aeronautical systems, subsystems and equipment through the various acquisition phasesand milestones. The Contractor shall assist in the preparation, maintenance, update and review of the fullrange of test and test-related documentation for adequacy, specification/performance requirementcompliance, and conformity with mandatory guidance and provide recommendations as necessary forimprovement. Qualifications Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Minimum Required Qualifications Clearance: Secret Education Required: Successful completion of a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from a college or university with an Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited engineering program(s) for the degree requirements of the position (e.g., electrical, mechanical, aerospace). Degrees in engineering technology are not considered to be qualifying for these positions. Years of Experience: Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respectivetechnical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD OR, Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respectivetechnical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWSlabor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in the DoD Certifications: ABET certified Preferred Qualifications Technical Skills: High proficiency in MS excel (e.g., data aggregation, advanced formulas, pivot tables, tables and graph production) and in MS PowerPoint. Strong analytical skills Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines Ability to work independently and under high pressure Interpersonal Skills Effective Communication: Strong ability to communicate complex acquisition and program management concepts clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, to diverse audiences including senior leadership. Strategic Problem Solving: Demonstrated aptitude for identifying programmatic challenges and proactively recommending viable solutions and alternative courses of action. Collaboration & Team Support: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including government stakeholders and external agencies, to achieve program objectives and resolve issues. Organizational & Planning Skills: Skilled in managing multiple priorities, coordinating program activities, and supporting structured planning efforts to ensure alignment with cost, schedule, and performance goals.
