The Medical Center Receptionist Float travels to offices throughout the network, as the need arises. The MCR Float position requires the ability to adapt and adjust to offices within the Physician Companies, which include Primary Care, and varied specialty practices. Medical Receptionists for Premier Health Physician Companies are responsible for patient relations, general clerical, reception, billing and collection functions, referrals, patient registration, and other duties as assigned. As the first point of contact for patients, they will uphold the excellent reputation of their practice and the company as a whole. Our Medical Receptionists are an integral part of our offices, and are relied upon to assist in delivering the very best in Patient Experience. Every patient, every time. Qualifications Reliable transportation and the ability to effectively manage change will be an essential component of the success in the Medical Center Receptionist Float position. High School diploma or GED, required. Two to three years of experience in an ambulatory health care facility sought. Applicants must have strong knowledge of medical terminology and a thorough understanding of HIPAA law. Confidentiality is of utmost importance. Knowledgeable of Third Party Payers, ICD-9 and CPT Coding is a plus. Computer and Keyboarding skills is required; Experience with Electronic Medical Records is an advantage, Epic is preferred. The ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is essential Ability to work well with multiple teams and in multiple settings
