Description This position is a Float Pharmacist role, which will require you to to travel to different pharmacy locations within the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania area daily and or weekly. Most of our pharmacies are open Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00AM-6:00PM. Occasionally you may be asked to cover Saturday dayshift hours. Nuvem Rx Pharmacy Management Team is looking for a compassionate, patient centric pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations by covering or providing overlap for the current pharmacy manager. Our goal is to make you feel empowered in the role that you play when managing the pharmacy and personnel in conjunction with the pharmacy manager. This position is for a a floating pharmacist, which is a licensed professional who travels between different pharmacy locations within a designated area to provide coverage, fill prescriptions, and offer clinical services like immunizations. They ensure operational continuity by managing staff, handling patient counseling, and maintaining inventory standards. Key Responsibilities floating pharmacist for the pharmacy located within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) within both the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania area. The hours will vary based upon the pharmacy you are assigned. As a Floating pharmacist for our pharmacies located within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), you will receive the benefit of a retail pharmacy type setting with a Monday thru Friday potential schedule. As the per-diem pharmacist, you will be responsible in managing our pharmacy relationship with our health center client. This includes engaging with clinic providers and their clinical staff, providing drug related education, and acting as a member of the patient care team. Primary Role: Our patients' health, compliance, and satisfaction are the most important factors to us. As the floating pharmacist, you are responsible for demonstrating the highest standard of patient quality care - from advising on prescriptions to helping treat chronic and specialty conditions. In addition, you are responsible for facilitating a team culture that promotes caring, enthusiasm, and pride by leading, and directing your pharmacy staff to achieve specific goals. Essential Job Functions: Provide support and education to patients on their medications. Management of staff pharmacist and technicians, if applicable. Address knowledge gaps by increasing knowledge through education and training. Pharmacy operational management and oversight. This includes: Patient Safety Pharmacy Professional Practice Regulatory Requirements Quality Assurance Customer Service Personnel Management Inventory Management Financial Profitability Loss Prevention Workflow Management Keep abreast and stay current with HIPAA and Fraud Waste and Abuse credentialing. Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures. Ensure that the Pharmacy and its employees are compliant with Federal, State and Local laws regulated.
