Responsibilities

THE ROLE IS TO FLOAT BETWEEN OUR 4 SITES AS A SPARE NURSE. YOU WILL COVER SICKNESS, ANNUAL LEAVE AND HELP WITH THE TRAINEE NURSES ON ALL SITES. THE SITES YOU WILL NEED TO COVER ARE WALLINGTON, BIGGIN HILL, BELLINGHAM & NEW CROSS. YOU WILL BE GIVEN A ROTA A MONTH IN ADVANCE BUT MUST ALSO BE FLEXIBLE TO CHANGE ON THE DAY. DRIVING LICENSE IS REQUIRED.

This position requires excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment for our patients.

DUTIES

  • Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
  • Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns or questions patients may have.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and medical histories, using IT systems effectively.
  • Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the surgery to adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote overall dental health.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient scheduling of appointments.
