Job Details Job Location: Jawonio Yonkers - Yonkers, NY 10701 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $22.18 - $24.18 Hourly Summary: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in cleaning and maintaining premises of contract sites by performing the following duties. Driving required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Organizes and prioritizes work flow at job site, assigning staff appropriately to routine duties and to special projects. Communicates job site needs, including supplies, staffing requirements, etc., to supervisor. Completes documentation required, including payroll, incident reports, disciplinary reports, quality assurance reports, etc., to maintain smooth operation of work site. Supervises cleaner work, demonstrating work, redirecting, coaching and communicating expectations of how work is to be done. Performs a variety of supervisory and leadership functions, including employment, orientation, training and retraining, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, motivation, and other related employee relations activities. Communicates with Vocational Rehabilitation Staff who work with contract cleaners at job site. Informs VRS of issues and concerns regarding cleaners. Helps VRS develop accommodations for contract cleaners as appropriate. Models appropriate work behavior and professional demeanor to staff. Demonstrates working knowledge of Operations Manual, Safety Procedures (including OSHA, MSDS, etc.), agency policy and procedures, and communicates their contents to workers effectively. Transports Cleaning Company employees and/or equipment to and from assigned work sites as needed in a Jawonio-owned vehicle. Maintains safe, orderly work area and work practices. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Education/Experience: High School diploma or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Additional Requirements: A valid NY or NJ State Driver’s License and ability to drive and driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required. Requires schedule to accommodate contract needs and requirements. This job is a 40 hour work week, Monday- Friday
