FLOATING EARLY YEARS EDUCATOR

Location: 5 nursery settings in Wallington close to each other
Salary: £14 Per hour
Job Type: Term- time only Monday- Friday 9am-4pm
The Floating L3 plays a vital role in maintaining high-quality care and compliance across our 5 nursery sites. This role involves traveling between settings to provide hands-on support where needed, ensuring staff-to-child ratios are met, and upholding a consistent standard of care. The liaison acts as a flexible team member who steps in during periods of staff absence, high enrolment and to cover staff training. All sights are within 5 minutes of each other and located in Wallington.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare, Required
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • Flexibility to travel to multiple locations on short notice

Responsibilities
  • Provide cover and support across different rooms or nursery sites as needed.
  • Work closely with existing staff to maintain routines and ensure consistency in care and learning.
  • Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate, engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Observe, monitor, and record children’s development, reporting concerns to relevant staff.
  • Build warm and professional relationships with children, parents, and staff.
