Description GSF Properties Inc. is looking for a Floating Maintenance Technician II in Madera and Firebaugh, CA, come join a dynamic property management team! In this role, you will perform a wide range of maintenance functions across our Madera and Firebaugh communities (150 total units), including unit turns, painting, plumbing, and electrical work. You will also be responsible for maintaining and improving the overall appearance of the properties, including residential common areas, office spaces, grounds, and parking lots. Your work will play a key role in ensuring the communities are well maintained and operate in alignment with ownership and management objectives. This position is scheduled Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a pay range of $22.50–$23.50 per hour. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between assigned communities. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Manager and Portfolio Manager to ensure all maintenance and grounds are well maintained Perform preventative maintenance and repair work, including appliances, carpentry, hardware, and basic HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems Complete service requests and work orders in a timely manner in accordance with company standards Prepare vacant units to ensure they are market-ready and meet quality expectations Maintain community grounds, curb appeal, and manage trash and common areas Participate in on-call rotations and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed Maintain positive relationships with residents, team members, and vendors Assist with annual unit inspections and identify necessary repairs or improvements Report lease violations and community concerns to management Coordinate with management to schedule vendors and order supplies as needed Ensure excellent curb appeal across both Firebaugh and Madera communities GSF Benefits: Medical Dental Vision Employee assistance program 401K Life insurance Holidays Vacation To learn more about GSF Properties, please visit our website at https://www.gsfpi.com/ Requirements Job Requirements for Maintenance Technician II: 2+ years of maintenance or related experience Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and general repairs; plumbing experience a plus Basic computer skills and ability to navigate web-based systems Strong customer service and communication skills Hardworking, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities, follow directions, and accept feedback Available Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with on-call as needed Valid CA driver’s license; able to travel between Firebaugh and Madera
