Description GSF Properties Inc. is looking for a Floating Maintenance Technician in Madera and Firebaugh, CA. Come join a dynamic property management team! **This position does require valid driver's license and must be able to travel to Madera and Firebaugh. Must have at least 2+ years of current and proven apartment maintenance experience to be considered** Qualifications / Skills for Maintenance Technician: Good communication skills Computer literate (outlook/property management software) Ability to positively interact with the general public, tenants, vendors, and corporate staff Strong organizational skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines General building maintenance skills (painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, carpentry) General grounds keeping skills Ability to manage emergency situations Professionalism Listening Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician: Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items Report violations of lease and house rules Timely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant’s maintenance needs are being met Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies Perform preventative maintenance duties Maintaining excellent curb appeal Follow policies and procedures Grounds GSF Benefits: Medical Dental Vision Employee assistance program 401K Life insurance Holidays Vacation To learn more about GSF Properties, please visit our website at https://www.gsfpi.com/ Requirements Job Requirements for Floating Maintenance Technician: Minimum of 2+ years of current and proven experience in multi-family apartment maintenance Able to work independently and follow directions Basic understanding of light maintenance and the desire to develop those skills Excellent customer service Ability to work well as a team Able to drive to Madera and Firebaugh Able to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (40 hours per week)
