Perform or assist in all phases of apartment and property maintenance including make-readies, walking vacant units, groundskeeping, punch-out work, trash-out, maintaining the swimming pool and golf carts, and interior and exterior repairs. Assist in the upkeep of the exterior and interior of the property. Assist the Service Manager with health and safety issues by identifying and reporting potential hazards, liability and safety concerns, and unresolved maintenance issues. Assist with efforts to prevent, mitigate and repair damage from severe weather events. Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment and ability to operate them in a safe manner. Maintain compliance with company policies, ADA, OSHA and other regulations affecting the maintenance of the property. Visit other locations when assigned by Community Manager or Service Manager. Requirements What You’ll Need Must be willing to travel between properties as assigned. High school diploma or GED along with a valid driver’s license. A minimum of 2 years of general maintenance experience in multi-unit property management. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection and energy management systems. Work as scheduled, including willingness and ability to work on call and maintain a rotating schedule. Ability and willingness to work overtime if needed. What’ll Set You Apart EPA certification Type I or II as well as other certifications/licenses as required by local, state or other regulations. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, Yardi, and other relevant applications. Physical Activities and Work Environment Requires frequent lifting and moving of objects up to 75 pounds. Requires frequent bending and/or stooping, and use of ladders or stepladders, to perform essential maintenance tasks. May require regularly climbing stairs to access upper floor apartments.
