THE ROLE:

As a Floating Support Worker, you’ll provide vital practical and emotional support to vulnerable adults who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or living in insecure housing.
You’ll work closely with a small caseload of clients, building strong relationships through face-to-face engagement, breaking down barriers, and helping them access safe, stable accommodation. Every day brings new opportunities to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.
This dynamic role offers variety, flexibility, and the chance to be part of a supportive team. Evening and occasional weekend work is required, along with participation in an on-call rota — but the impact you’ll make is truly life-changing.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Conduct needs and risk assessments
  • Keeping client records accurate, clear, and up to date
  • Maintaining regular contact with a small caseload of clients
  • Advise and assist clients with budgeting
  • Accompany clients to appointments
