Description Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Assembly Technician to join our team. This position is primarily independent work with minimal direct teamwork, ideal for someone who can stay focused and productive with limited supervision. This position is responsible for performing precise unit assemblies using hand tools, power tools, and basic production equipment. This role also involves computer-based tasks, including reviewing digital work instructions, referencing technical drawings, and accurately recording production data. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings, and committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment while following all safety policies and procedures.? Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move materials, as necessary. Occasional travel to vendor locations or plant areas may be required. Duties: Review and follow digital work instructions and technical drawings using a computer.? Operate production machinery and basic shop equipment safely and efficiently.? Accurately record work progress and completion data in the computer system.? Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all safety and housekeeping standards.? Power down and secure all tools and equipment when not in use.? Notify supervisor of any material shortages, equipment issues, or safety concerns.? Consistently adhere to company safety policies and procedures.? Requirements Requirements: Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.? Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.? Comfortable using a computer for reviewing instructions and documenting work.? Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.? Good communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and related departments as needed.? Lift up to 50 pounds, push and pull similar weights.? Work in awkward positions (kneeling, bending, overhead).? Climb and work from step ladders or scaffold when required.?
