Responsibilities

Due to an increased workload, we are looking to recruit Flooding Modeller / Engineer. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the Flooding and Water Management team in Scotland, providing effective support and assistance to the modellers and team leaders on a variety of flood schemes. We have been confirmed as the lead engineering consultant working with the NI Department for Infrastructure (DFI) on their Water and Departmental Delivery contract for the next five years, as well as NI Transport Asset Management and Translink contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake preliminary and detailed modelling and design of Flood Management projects,
  • Prepare modelling reports including GIS mapping, and contract specifications and bills of quantities for projects
  • Provide supervision and management of contracts for both minor and major projects,
  • Undertake feasibility, outline and detailed design studies,
  • Contribute to the development of tender documents for small and large scale procurements,
  • Undertake work relating to the programme management of Flood Management Improvement Schemes, and
  • Procure surveys and other field works.
