Title: Bar & Floor Supervisor
Start : Immediate Start - Variable Hours
Location: Tooting Broadway
Reports To:General Manager
Salary : £14 per hour + Service Charge + Tips
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced , quick learner Bar & Floor Supervisor who is passionate about delivering exceptional service, hands-on in both bar operations and floor management.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader, eager to learn, and capable of working seamlessly in a positive environment. This role requires someone who can manage team operations, maintain stock levels, handle reservations, and contribute to creating a memorable experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working Closely with a General Manager
- Lead and motivate the service team during shifts to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Work directly with guests and team members on the floor to maintain high service standards.
- Prepare and serve cocktails, demonstrating excellent bartending skills.
- Manage reservations using OpenTable and our internal booking system; handle inquiries professionally.
- Collaborate with suppliers, place orders, and manage invoices to ensure timely delivery of stock.
- Conduct weekly stock counts of beverages and manage inventory levels.
- Assist in training and mentoring new team members.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Support overall bar and floor operations to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a supervisor in a bar or hospitality setting.
- Hands-on experience in bartending, including cocktail preparation.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with reservation systems like OpenTable .
- Knowledge of stock management, ordering, and inventory control.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Passionate, proactive, and eager to learn and grow within the role.
