If you enjoy hands-on work, operating specialized equipment, and making a visible impact every day—this role is for you! ---------------------------------------- 🔧 WHAT YOU’LL DO As a Floor Care Technician, you’ll be the expert behind the shine. Your responsibilities will include: * Cleaning and maintaining a variety of floor surfaces (tile, vinyl, hardwood, carpet, and more) * Stripping, waxing, buffing, sealing, and burnishing floors * Operating equipment like auto scrubbers, buffers, and carpet extractors * Shampooing carpets and tackling tough stains * Sweeping, mopping, and keeping baseboards spotless * Using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively * Inspecting floors for wear, damage, or hazards * Setting up safety signage to protect staff and visitors * Maintaining equipment and following all safety protocols (OSHA, SDS, etc.) * Taking on special assignments and working independently or with a team 💡 Flexibility is key—some projects may require evening or weekend work. ---------------------------------------- 🎓 WHAT YOU BRING * High School Diploma or GED * At least 3 years of custodial and floor care experience * Valid Driver’s License (driving required) * Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial best practices * Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English ---------------------------------------- 🔍 PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS * Office of Inspector General (OIG) Clearance * Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Check * General Background Check ---------------------------------------- 🌟 WHAT WE EXPECT * Professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic * Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and quality standards * Positive attitude and teamwork mindset * Willingness to attend trainings and stay up to date on industry practices ---------------------------------------- 🚀 WHY JOIN US?
