OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Floor Layer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation and restoration, with the ability to work effectively on various construction projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. As a Floor Layer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic and functional aspects of residential and commercial spaces.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in flooring installation, including tile laying and floor care.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols.
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques, caulking methods, and fixture installation.
• Experience in the restoration industry is a plus, particularly in water damage restoration.
• Ability to perform remodeling tasks as required by specific projects.
• Proficient in using buffing equipment for floor finishing.
• Strong understanding of concrete finishing techniques is desirable.

• Install various types of flooring materials, including tile, hardwood, laminate, and carpet.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and specifications.

• Utilize hand tools and power tools for precise flooring installation.
• Conduct water damage restoration tasks as needed, ensuring quality repairs.
• Execute trim carpentry and cabinet installation to complement flooring projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project completion.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns.
