Want to work for a truly independent and exciting British restaurant? We are looking for a passionate, professional, experienced Floor Manager (reporting to senior managers) to lead our team at The Black Lamb restaurant in Wimbledon.
Our passion is using seasonal British ingredients with a daily changing menu. We call this “Local and Wild”. Our produce is sourced and foraged from the Sussex countryside including our own livestock farm. We also have our own family vineyard giving us a unique position to serve and educate our guests on English wine. Please get in touch if this is also your shared passion.
The ideal Floor Manager would have the following attributes:
- Experience of being a business leader with a passion and focus on driving success and growth within the business
- Wine (WSET) & food knowledge with honed sales and training skills
- The ability and confidence to lead a team in a calm and inspirational manner
- Strong and effective communication skills
- Good organisational, planning and prioritising skills
- Thorough knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety and licensing legislation
- Back of house skills including staff management, cost controlling, financials
- Current experience as a Floor Manager or head waiter in an environment where quality is essential
