Responsibilities

Working as a Floor Manager for JD Sports is a state of mind, an attitude and way of challenging the norm. We do not conform; we create our own path and are elite within our field. As a Floor Manager you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to create a unique and memorable JD experience whilst being responsible for elevated duties to support the management team.

You are responsible for, however not limited to the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with queries, processing sales, returns and gift vouchers
  • Work in partnership with your Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to manage the team in their absence
  • Assist and manage your Department Managers and Supervisors to ensure all floor operations are running smoothly
  • Train and mentor your team on all areas of store operations, including sales, product knowledge, customer care and more
  • Motivate, inspire and lead your team from the front
  • Deescalate any customer complaints
  • Work under the guidance and support of your Store Manager, alongside team to achieve KPI’s and targets
  • Ad-hoc tasks as required
  • Engage in housekeeping tasks to upkeep store presentation standards
