We are looking for a talented and passionate Floor Manager for our JD Sports Store in Athens , Ermou Street! The Floor Manager is responsible for providing support to the Store Manager serving as a vital link between management and the store associate team. They will take ownership of specific areas of the store sales floor, own supporting aspects of daily operations, and most importantly drive sales through a premium customer experience while also performing the following main responsibilities: Assists Assistant Manager, and Store Manager in all aspects of daily shift management, including customer relations, inventory control, procedural tasks, visual merchandising, opening and closing the store. Manages one or more key areas of the sales floor inclusive of supervising lower-level management staff and other store personnel. Responsibilities: Customer Service Provide customers with excellent levels of Customer service. Deal with customer complaints and enquires, providing the best possible outcome. Ensure the personal appearance of sales staff is in line with company guidelines. Ensure the store provides an appealing, easy-to-shop environment for customers through visual merchandising and housekeeping standards being maintained consistently throughout the store. Sales Monitor staff service levels in order to maximize store sales and achieve targets. Give appropriate and prompt feedback, including actively managing poor performance. Utilize in-store devices, making sure that the customer is offered the whole product range. Demonstrate a high business acumen including, but not limited to, an in-depth knowledge of the store’s key performance indicators, inventory movement, and sales performance. Use reports to assist you in product placement of key selling lines. Tracks store performance data and respond with solutions that drive sales success. Visual Merchandising Attract, engage and motivate customers into making purchases in store by using the latest visual techniques. Provide assistance with the maintenance of standards on the sales floor. Keep stock clean and presentable at all times. Training & Development Coaches, motivates and inspires team members to accomplish store goals and maximize their individual performance. Provides assistance with on-boarding, training and developing the store team and ensures all HR policies and procedures are adhered to. Provides and supports a respectful, inclusive and diverse working environment that allows our employees to be successful. Experience in equivalent position in Retail area (ideally in fashion, Retail Supervisor experience would be advantageous). Excellent Time Management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills Excellent use of English language and computer skills Additional foreign languages will be considered as a plus.
