OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager at Solaire Rooftop to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Floor Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the restaurant run smoothly, from managing staff to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Knowledge of inventory control processes and experience with budgeting in a restaurant setting.
  • Familiarity with fine dining, casual dining, quick service, or banquet operations is preferred.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and foster a positive work culture.
  • Ability to train staff effectively in various areas including culinary skills and hospitality management.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards.
  • Train, mentor, and develop staff in food preparation, customer service, and operational procedures.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste.
  • Handle cash management processes, including cash handling and reconciliation at the end of shifts.
  • Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for order processing and sales tracking.
  • Handle Private Events requests and answer all restaurant emails.
  • Oversee shift management to ensure optimal staffing levels and effective team performance.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food production and quality presentation.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial planning to achieve operational goals.
