INTRODUCTION:

You will be responsible for servicing our world-class events, including the management of banquets, exhibitions, tradeshows, entertainment, and award-winning food and beverage service. Our team of Floor Managers ensures that clients’ expectations are met with a “can-do” attitude by providing an environment that is both inspirational and adaptable.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
Overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring customer service standards are maintained, and providing effective leadership and direction to all event team members.
Planning events in consultation with key stakeholders.
Liaising with clients regarding the details of their events.
Ensuring compliance with the Responsible Service of Alcohol policy at all catered functions.
Delivering pre-event briefings to team members.
Managing employee relations.
Ensuring all team members work safely and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE WILL:
Previous leadership experience in a large banqueting or food and beverage environment.
Experience coordinating exhibition/tradeshow-style catering.
Proven ability to manage, motivate, lead, and provide direction to a large team of 100+.
A current RMLV Certificate and Approved Manager Licence (or the ability to obtain them quickly), along with experience managing RSA compliance in a large venue.
