Description FLOOR MANAGER – JOB DESCRIPTION Bawk Position Summary We are looking for a Floor Manager who can lead service with confidence, support the team during busy shifts, and maintain smooth daily operations. This role requires strong communication skills, base-level bar knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-casual restaurant environment. The position focuses on weekend brunch and weekday evening service. Key Responsibilities • Oversee the floor during service, especially weekend brunch and weekday dinner shifts. • Support servers, bartenders, hosts, and bussers throughout the shift. • Maintain guest satisfaction by addressing issues quickly and professionally. • Communicate effectively with the kitchen to ensure timing and consistency. • Manage side work, cleanliness, floor organization, and opening/closing duties. • Assist with staff scheduling, training, onboarding, and coaching. • Monitor labor and adjust floor coverage as needed. • Help with restocking, inventory notes, and communicating product needs. • Ensure company hospitality, service, and cleanliness standards are met. Qualifications • 1–2 years of supervisory or lead experience in hospitality. • Comfortable managing weekend brunch and weekday evening service. • Base-level bar knowledge (beer, wine, simple cocktails). • Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities. • Ability to stay organized and calm during busy periods. • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends. • Familiarity with POS systems and basic admin tasks. Preferred Skills • Experience in fast-casual or high-volume restaurants. • Ability to multitask and solve problems quickly. • Experience with training systems, checklists, or workflow procedures.
