Description Home Run Inn Pizza is looking for a reliable and experienced Floor Supervisor to join our Full Service Restaurant located in Darien, IL! Job Summary: The Floor Supervisor supports day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure exceptional guest experience. This role helps lead front-of-house team members, maintains high standards of service, and ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The Floor Supervisor serves as a working leader, guiding staff, resolving guest issues, and helping keep operations running smoothly. Duties & Responsibilities: Supports and promotes a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with all workplace health and safety requirements and reinforcing safe behaviors across the team. Develop healthy teams based on Trust, Healthy Conflict, Commitment, Accountability and Attention to Results Conduct opening and closing duties. Conduct pre-shift checks and table visits. Address ordering and scheduling problems. Support management functions, as assigned, to ensure smooth operations. Train staff. Work specific front of house positions due to excessive volume or staff shortages including but not limited to Server, Cashier, Bartender, or Hostess. Certify and train new hire employees. Provide feedback for employees in their position. Implement new standards and practices. Update training materials. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements Two-year college degree and equivalent to direct restaurant (FOH) experience of 1-2 years+ Possess excellent basic math skills and can operate a cash register or POS system. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to remain calm during busy or challenging situations. Continuously be able to physically lift, reach, bend and stop. Ability to stand for extended periods. (up to 5 hours). Have working knowledge of the predominant language of our guests Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. You must obtain Food Handler certification within 30 days of being hired. You must obtain Safety shoes are required within 30 days of being hired. Must be at least 21 years old Food Allergens at the Restaurant: Milk, Eggs, Tree nuts, Peanuts, Wheat, Soybeans, Sesame.
