Job Details Level: Experienced Position Type: Full Time Job Category: Warehouse Eagle Distributing is seeking a reliable, self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail with good work habits, good attendance and punctuality, the ability to work well and get along with others, and the ability to learn and apply new skills. This is an entry-level management position, with responsibility for training, coaching and performance management of various Warehouse personnel who are picking orders, verifying the accuracy of orders, and loading orders onto delivery vehicles. This is a working manager position, not a “desk job.” The successful candidate will be expected to be on the floor with the Warehouse members, leading through example and working alongside them to demonstrate the desired work habits. Primary duties include implementation of Company programs and policies that will result in the accurate loading of all trucks and the readiness of all trucks (from a loading standpoint) to make a timely departure. The Floor Team Leader will work closely with the Warehouse Members to ensure accurate order fulfillment and will also work closely with the Verifiers to ensure each truck’s load is double-checked for accuracy. The Floor Team Leader will comply with and enforce the Warehouse procedures and policies; and provide coaching and training opportunities for each Warehouse Member to ensure they learn and achieve competence with those procedures; and monitor performance of the Warehouse Members to ensure effective implementation and compliance with those procedures. The Floor Team Leader will also be responsible for making sure the Warehouse is clean and organized at the end of the shift and will assist the Load Crew Manager in securing the facilities each night. This is a full-time regular position, Monday through Friday. There is no set ending time; you are expected to stay until the work is completed, which depends upon the volume and work flow of that night. 10- to 12-hour shifts are not uncommon, and occasionally longer shifts occur. Qualifications We’re seeking an individual who is experienced in warehouse operations who has strong warehouse procedures execution combined with an aptitude for managing others. The successful candidate will possess good communication skills, will have had some leadership experiences, and will have a verifiable history of strong warehouse procedures execution. Qualified candidates will be able to lift up to 60 pounds repetitiously.

Responsibilities

The Floor Team Leader is responsible for training, coaching, and performance management of Warehouse personnel, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and compliance with procedures. They will also maintain cleanliness and organization in the Warehouse and assist in securing the facilities.
