Description

Floor Technicians are an integral part of the environmental services team that helps change the lives of our patients and residents each day. As a Floor Tech you are responsible for providing a full range of environmental services including:

  • Following a rotation schedule to deep clean resident rooms which includes striping, waxing and buffing floors.
  • Maintaining floors in the dining room, activity room, resident lounges as well as the reception and other common areas.
  • Inventorying cleaning solutions, wax, stripping/buffing pads, etc. and notifying supervisor of items and quantities needed to be ordered.
  • Maintaining equipment and notifying the supervisor when repairs need to be made.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One year of experience working as a Floor Tech or Housekeeping Aide preferably in a healthcare facility.
  • Attention to detail with initiative to follow through on assignments with little supervision.
  • Proven ability to work well within a team as well as independently
  • Excellent customer service skills along with good interpersonal and communication skills
