Job Summary Details: The Part-time Floor Technician is responsible for cleaning and maintaining floors through shampooing, extraction, stripping, and waxing, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety in accordance with company procedures. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:00p.m to 9:30p.m. Locations: OXY - Deer Park, Pasadena, and La Porte, TX Pay: $15.00 per hour The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) Basic Qualifications: • Must be 21 years of age or older • Must possess a valid driver's license • Minimum one year of experience in floor care, including buffing, stripping, waxing, mopping, and scrubbing • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required Preferred Qualifications: • Minimum one year of experience in floor care, including buffing, stripping, waxing, mopping, and scrubbing • Customer service experience • 1 year of similar work experience Responsibilities: Clean and maintain floors in accordance with company standards. Perform floor care tasks, including shampooing, extraction, stripping, and waxing floors using appropriate equipment and techniques. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Notify the manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers. Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities. Maintain cleanliness of equipment used for floor care and ensure all tools are in good working condition. Move furniture and equipment as necessary to access and clean all areas of the floor. Gather and empty trash from floor areas and ensure common spaces are tidy. Perform incidental seasonal tasks, such as snow removal or maintenance of outdoor walkways, as needed. #300 A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
