Maine Veterans’ Homes – Scarborough is seeking a Floor Technician / Housekeeping Aide to support our residents, visitors, and staff by maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and floor care throughout our home. What You’ll Do Perform floor care duties including stripping, waxing, buffing, and general maintenance Complete daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms and common areas Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times What We’re Looking For Experience with basic floor maintenance and equipment required Previous experience in institutional housekeeping preferred (healthcare, long-term care, etc.) Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing Basic computer skills Why Join Us?
