JOB OVERVIEW The Floor Technician is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and restoring various types of flooring to ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment. This role includes performing routine floor care such as sweeping and mopping, as well as specialized tasks including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing. The technician operates floor care equipment and follows established safety and quality standards to maintain the appearance and longevity of facility floors. Pay: $16 Schedule: Monday to Friday from 5 PM to 10 PM EST. KEY RESPONSABILITIES * Sweep, mop, and clean floors daily. * Strip, wax, buff, and polish floors as scheduled. * Operate floor machines (buffer, scrubber, burnisher). * Clean carpets using approved equipment. * Follow safety and chemical handling procedures. * Set up warning signs when floors are wet or being serviced. * Report maintenance issues or damaged flooring. * Maintain equipment in a clean and working condition. * Follow company policies and supervisor instructions. QUALIFICATIONS * Previous floor care or janitorial experience preferred. * Ability to operate floor equipment (training provided if needed). * Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. * Attention to detail and safety. * Reliable and punctual. * Ability to follow instructions in English or Spanish. TRAVEL * Position requires driving to multiple locations within the area of work. REQUIREMENTS * Must have a valid Driver's License. * Must pass a MVR. * Must pass a background check.
