SKILLS REQUIRED

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
· Relevant trade qualifications in tiling or 3 years of tiling experience;
· Good interpersonal skills;
· Good writing and numeracy skills;
· Highly motivated; and
· Knowledge of safe work practices.

We are looking for a full-time Wall and Floor Tiler to meet growing customer demand.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Interpreting architectural drawings and floor plans to determine tile layout and required quantities of materials.
• Inspecting and preparing floor surfaces for tiling.
• Laying out work areas by measuring, marking reference lines, and planning tile placement.
• Selecting, mixing, and applying appropriate adhesives.
• Installing a range of tiles.
• Cutting tiles precisely using manual or electric tile-cutting tools to fit edges, corners, curved surfaces, and around fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and drains.
• Installing waterproofing membranes and systems in wet areas in accordance with Australian standards and building codes.
• Applying grout between tiles.
