Description
The Floorman is responsible for working the rig floor during drilling operations and performing duties as needed to make rig and operation run smoothly. Role: Work rig floor when operating. Keep work areas clean at all times. Assist wherever needed around rig. Responsibilities: Personally responsible for own safety and conducting oneself to the standards of Nabors Policies and Procedures Work on rig floor when drilling and tripping. Always keep work areas clean and make a safe working environment. Attend and participate in all safety meeting and drills. Be involved in the Smart Program Always be aware of your surroundings and pay attention when working tongs or operating air hoists. Always use proper lifting techniques when lifting heavy materials or items Always wear your Personal Protective Equipment Work safely at all times Work together as a team Keep a good attitude. Help as needed to keep rig running efficiently and properly. Assist Operator Rep. if asked in whatever duties are needed. Report all accidents, incidents, and near misses to direct supervisor. If not sure on how to do something properly, ask for help and guidance. Always watch out for your fellow crewmembers and correct them if you see them doing something incorrectly. Do your best to keep all rig and location clean and organized at all times. Do whatever is asked of you to the best of your ability. Minimum years of Experience: 2 Years of experience in drilling and workover operations or a demonstrated progression of relevant assignments. Qualifications: High School or Equivalent and above. Good knowledge of English.
Responsibilities
The Floorman is primarily responsible for working on the rig floor during drilling operations and ensuring the smooth running of the rig and operations. This includes maintaining clean work areas, participating in safety meetings, and assisting the Operator Representative as needed.
