OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the planning and execution of flooring projects by accurately assessing project costs and providing essential support to project management. This position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to negotiate effectively, and a comprehensive understanding of construction estimating processes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in flooring estimation or a related field is essential.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using estimation software such as Planswift or RFMS Measure is an asset.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost assessment.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

• Conduct thorough analysis of residential project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and scope.
• Utilize software tools such as Planswift or RFMS Measure for efficient estimation processes.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids.
• Provide support during the bidding process by preparing bid packages and presenting estimates to clients.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and contracts for future reference.
