POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking an experienced sales professional to join our Burnaby team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role involves managing existing accounts and developing new business relationships with restoration and property management clients. and above. The successful candidate must have flooring knowledge, excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to establish strong customer relationships that lead to sales. This position offers significant earning potential, with the possibility of making over $75K in the first year and $100K+ in subsequent years.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Relations: Maintain existing accounts and develop new business relationships with restoration and property management clients.
  • Sales and Service: Explore new business opportunities through strategic cold calling, follow-ups, events, and exceptional service.
  • Estimating and Quoting: Provide accurate estimates and quotes for flooring and cabinetry projects. Ability to measure and create floor plans using estimating software.
  • Project Management: Conduct on-site measurements and assessments of existing conditions, ensuring site readiness for installations.
  • Showroom Assistance: Assist clients in the showroom by offering product knowledge and pricing information. Help educate customers on all flooring and cabinetry products.
  • Administration: Handle ordering materials, general administrative duties, and daily showroom maintenance.
  • Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with appropriate departments and installers onsite, troubleshooting problems and finding creative solutions as needed.
  • Follow-Up: Collect deposits and final payments, arrange credit applications, and follow up with clients upon project completion to ensure satisfaction.
  • Networking: Build and foster a network of referrals to create new sales opportunities. Prospect weekly and grow sales in all target market areas.
