- You’re a friendly, presentable, switched-on, and honest person, who brings a little joy to every interaction. You’re naturally self-motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to impress. You sweat the small stuff and have a great attitude towards customers.
- You’re up for a challenge and thrive on a busy schedule. You’re always on the lookout for ways to improve things for customers, colleagues, and you have a bias towards action.
- You may well have been a carpet or flooring installer - or in a construction related field - and are now looking for a different role. Alternatively, if your background doesn’t lie in flooring but you’ve got experience in sales, surveying, estimating etc., we’d still love to hear from you.
- You act with integrity and respect when in a customer’s home, understanding how small actions can leave significant positive impressions. You are detailed, accurate and good with numbers, ensuring precision when measuring and planning rooms.
- You understand the importance of the end-to-end customer experience and your role in it, ensuring that you make it easy for installers to carry out their work, leaving customers with a huge smile on their faces!
- You’re a quick learner and effectively apply your knowledge on all aspects of floor preparation, and credibly execute floor covering and accessories recommendations, providing a great service for the customer.

As part of our team, you’ll embrace a hands-on approach, occasionally supporting showroom sales during peak periods or when needed to ensure seamless customer experiences. Bring a sales position, your role will also include some weekend and bank holiday work.

Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will revolve primarily around making sure that visitors to our showroom are looked after, however we’re a very team-focused company, so there will be a certain degree of getting stuck in and helping where it’s needed. As a member of our showroom sales team, your responsibilities would include the following:
- Deliver exceptional customer service: Exceed customer expectations by providing a friendly, understanding, and respectful approach that makes them feel relaxed and reassured in their homes.
- Provide accurate quotes: Prepare detailed flooring plans and itemised quotes for customers.
- Ensure project quality and suitability: Carry out retrospective quality control and site inspections, checking sub-floors for potential issues and assessing their suitability and readiness.
- Process orders efficiently: Thoroughly and accurately process customer orders where applicable.
- Maintain a safe work environment: Comply with all Health and Safety and security requirements set out by the Company
