What You'll Do:  * Travel and relocate for temporary assignments as rigs move; work intermittently for extended periods with minimal time off. * Work on rig floor in tandem with Motorman, Derrickman, and Driller; assemble and disassemble drill pipe using ST-80 and tongs while tripping and making connections; work in tandem with rig crew and casing crew while running casing. * Operate boom line, air hoist/hydraulic hoists to lift and move heavy supplies, equipment, and pipe. * Move casing or drill pipe joints to and from pipe racks, catwalk, ramp, and rig floor as required. * Check mud; carry 100-pound mud sacks from storage to hopper and mix mud in hopper as directed. * Repair drilling machinery, pumps, and derrick; rack tools, and clean drilling floor around rig. * Gather drill cutting samples for geologists' review. * Perform routine and preventive rig servicing, repair, and maintenance, including scrubbing and painting, when operations do not require presence on rig floor. * Assist in erecting and dismantling rigs and associated drill site systems. What We're Looking For: Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities * High school diploma or equivalent education with six (6) months of current drilling experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. * Must be eighteen (18) years of age. * English language fluency, verbal and written. * Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.   Additional Eligibility Qualifications  * English language fluency, verbal and written. * Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.     True Drilling LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Vets, Disability #indfield
Responsibilities
