In addition, collects, secures and records revenue resulting from transactions. Assist with the installation, and maintenance of horticultural design elements for interior spaces, conservatory exhibits, and events. The Floral Designer will: * Create floral designs and customer service of wedding clientele. * Prepare initial, revised and final quotes and contracts for clients. * Conduct customer consultations regarding various floral requirements. * Assist with beatification of NPC venues offering ideas and changes to decor including set-up.  * Liaise with the Wedding department on photo shoots, wedding shows etc. * Assist in watering and fertilizing of plant material in floral displays and greenhouses. * Assist in the set-up of floral and tropical displays in NPC venues.  * Ensure the facility is locked up including vent adjustment, plant misting, securing all entrances, final greenhouse crop water check. * Comply with all applicable legislation as well as any related policies and procedures. * Follow all health and safety procedures and policies. * Provide friendly customer service to both internal and external guests. * Promote a positive image of NPC. Performs other related duties. * As assigned. What You’ll Bring * Floral Design Certificate and/or equivalent knowledge and experience. (Level 2 Floral Design Certificate is considered an asset) * Minimum one (1) year of Floral Design experience in a professional capacity. * A recognized Horticulture diploma would be considered an asset. * Strong theoretical and applied experience and knowledge of floral design and techniques. * Knowledge and ability to create original floral arrangements/bouquets and interior design concepts. * Knowledge and ability to prepare quotes and contracts. * Ability to conduct a variety of manual labour duties. * Must be willing and able to work overtime on short notice and to perform shift work necessary to fulfill the requirement of a seven-day operation.
